A party of enthusiastic garden visitors from the Club went on a private visit to Terstan NGS garden, near Stockbridge, on Wednesday 16 July. The owner, Penny Burfield, gave an introductory talk about the garden, which she and her late husband had created over more than 50 years. We were then free to wander around the garden and admire the many themed areas in the acre of ground that had been slowly developed surrounding the small brick cottage. Tea and cake were enjoyed by all as we sat and chatted in the various seating areas within the garden.
