The Petersfield Gardeners’ Club visit to Exbury Gardens and Steam Railway on Tuesday 13th May was enjoyed by a coachful of forty members and friends. The weather was perfect for strolling around the gardens, through the native woodland bordering the Beaulieu River and riding on the little steam railway. We were fortunate to catch the end of the camellias and the full beauty of the many rhododendrons and azaleas. Another highlight was the magnificent wisteria in the Sundial Garden.
